Why we chose Chapter 31:
Our group chose chapter 31 because it resolves the story. It combines all the themes and messages that the novel conveys. It shows how much the characters have grown. Scout has become wiser and Boo Radley is less of a stranger to the Finch's. It makes you understand that the biggest conflict in this story is understanding others. Even though the ending didn't end with happily ever after, the characters have a better understanding of equality.
